The Thunderpede is Shaking Things up with its Pulverizing Strength!
Vikings! Alert your fellow Dragon Trainers - Thunderpedes are scurrying their way into School Of Dragons. Think you have what it takes to tame these 10-limbed companions? Soaring steadily, albeit at sluggish speeds, with its 2 small taught wings, this Boulder Class Bruiser certainly stands out from the rest with its 6 quick-moving legs and two muscular forearms. Just one look at this disruptive dragon, and there’s no denying that this dragon is simply made for destruction! After all, what would a Boulder Class dragon be without its ability to smash through rocks with an earth-rattling strength?
And for this latest dragon delivery, you can thank Fishlegs, who knows quite a bit about Boulder Class dragons from years of training with Meatlug. It was during one of their many outings to explore the various rock types around campus that they stumbled upon a Thunderpede and its large nest of dragon eggs. The duo had embarked on a quest to see if Meatlug’s fire blasts changed depending on the type of rocks he crushed up and ate. As they collected rocks from all over campus they noticed an unusual abundance near the shores of the Training Grounds. Fishlegs thought this was odd but was too excited to begin his experiment to put too much thought in it. That is until the ground below him began to shake and off in the distance behind some rocks, he saw some sparks rising, He trembled slightly and thought to himself, “hmm… what could it be?“ and after mustering up all his courage he flew over, riding Meatlug.
They approached with caution and to their surprise were met by a THUNDERPEDE on the other side of the rocky coastline. The Thunderpede had been smashing boulders to build something. Fishlegs surveyed the area and it hit him “She’s crushing these boulders to build some protection around her nest!” he said to Meatlug. Wanting to learn more about this elusive Dragon, Fishlegs was determined to bring it back to campus and make sure the eggs were properly cared for.
As Fishlegs tried to get close, the Thunderpede began flailing its immense forearms and shooting fireballs! After successfully maneuvering Meatlug and himself, Fishlegs used the knowledge he had of Boulder Class dragons to charm the dragon and gain its trust. The Thunderpede itself was already impressed by the clear bond between Fishlegs and Meatlug shared as they circled around it. And at that point, Fishlegs knew he couldn’t leave all these eggs unguarded, so he decided to help get the eggs out of this secluded and rocky area and to the shelves of Trader Johann’s store, where they would end up with trusted dragon trainers like his friend Astrid, who took a quick liking to the Thunderpede. He gathered the troops back at campus and got his friends to help airlift the eggs to the store. As for the Thunderpede, he made room for it in his stables and began training in the ways of the Vikings at School of Dragons!
And now you can do the same, by getting your very own Thunderpede egg now at Johann’s Trading Post as these Boulder Class companions begin shaking things up on campus. Go there now to get yours!

Catastrophic Quakens are Sending Shock Waves Across Land and Sky!
Rumor has it that elusive CATASTROPHIC QUAKENS have been spotted on campus! Are you ready to learn what it takes to train this Boulder Class dragon? Now you can - thanks to Hiccup and his ongoing expeditions to explore the unchartered lands on the outskirts of the island! While on one of these very expeditions, the other day, Hiccup and Toothless were suddenly knocked off balance by a force so strong that it sent vibrations across the grounds around them. Neither of them were hurt but they were overcome with confusion. When the violent shaking finally subsided, the duo quickly looked around. They had no idea what had had happened. Where had the shockwaves come from? Nothing like that had ever struck the School of Dragons grounds.
Hiccup immediately took to the skies with Toothless to get a better view from above. They flew in search of the epicenter of the shaking, when suddenly after a loud, thunderous whipping sound, the shaking started up again and the force of the shockwaves could be felt even in the sky. Hiccup immediately noticed that it was affecting Toothless who began slowing down while in flight. He took the reigns and guided his dragon safely to the ground. Concerned for Toothless, Hiccup found a spot for them to rest near what appeared to be a large boulder.
Then suddenly, upon their approach, the ‘rock’ revealed itself to be the actual source of the shock waves that had left them shaken. Hiccup explained, “It’s a Catastrophic Quaken!” The dragon approached with some hesitation as it appeared to be guarding a nest of dragon eggs. But after having observed Hiccup’s undeniable bond with Toothless as they landed nearby to rest, the Quaken knew that Hiccup was a Viking that could be trusted. After realizing the Catastrophic Quaken had been blasting out shock waves to protect its brood, Hiccup and Toothless invited the dragon back to the School bringing along the nest of eggs which are now available at Johann’s Trading Post. Will you help keep there soon-to-be-dragons safe by picking up your egg today? Start training!

Thankfully, one of those trusty explorers was able to find the largest nest of eggs and bring a number of these wild creatures back to the School. Their highly defensive abilities and hard to train personalities, make raising this dragon more than just any simple adventure.
This dangerous beast is not for the faint of heart. Between this dragon’s razor-sharp wings, whip-like tail, blazing fire, and their aggressive nature, there are not many dragons out there more deadly. Apart from their barrage of fighting skills, the Razorwhip also has an array of defense skills. Legend states that their tears are lethal and their maneuverability in flight is unmatched. Trainers need to be not only brave enough, but also smart and loyal to tame this ferocious dragon.
The Razorwhip might be one of the deadliest dragons at the School, but those who train this dragon will have made a powerful and loyal friend for life. So be aware for when the skies go dark and the tears start to fall, the Razorwhip is coming and spares no enemy. However, if you think you are a tough enough trainer, head over to the Viking store to begin the challenge.
Prickleboggles are Bringing Calm to Campus!

Don’t be deceived by this dragon’s lack of combative abilities, they are still an impressive addition to your stables. What they lack in a fight, they make up for in their calming and healing talents in some of the most chaotic of circumstances. These dragons have essential healing powers, powers that help them bond to some of the most ferocious of dragons, who are often very loyal to them after being healed.
To avoid attacks, Prickleboggles have defensive skins which prevent them from being harmed while they tend to their fallen dragon friends. Not to say they are impenetrable to fiery attacks, but they have evolved to thrive through quick attacks when in aiding friends in battle.
While this dragon is known for being one of the more peaceful of creatures to fly across Berk, it is important to remember that it also has an essential function to heal and calm, making for the ultimate addition as you grow your fleet of winged companions. Stop by the Viking store to see what the healing Prickleboggle can do for you and your dragon family.
